What is yoga?

Yoga is a complete system to balance all aspects of one’s life: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual and to bring out the best in you. Yoga offers a way to harness the healing power of the body and mind to promote a healthy and harmonious life. The mental and physical disciplines taught in yoga are tools for overcoming the limitations we place on ourselves. These include unhealthy lifestyle habits and mental or physical imbalances.

The structure of the classes enables students to learn at their own pace. For beginners we reccomend our 6 week Beginners Course followed by our Ongoing Beginners classes which you would do for at least 3 months before trying our Organic Flow and Contemporary/Classical classes. We also offer Pre Natal classes, Menopause and Midlife classes, and Courses in Meditation . Residential retreats and non - residential workshops are held through out the year for those students who wish to explore yoga more deeply. An accredited 15 month Yoga Teacher Training Course commences every year.

Is yoga for everyone?

Yes. There is a yoga sytle to suit everyone. Common myth – “you need to be flexible to do yoga”. Nonsense! Funily enough, many people who are stiff, sore or who have tight muscles find yoga greatly improves their flexibility. Insync offers a range of classes in different yoga styles. We cater for beginners to the experienced practitioner.
