Understanding Anxiety

Anxiety is a state of worry and nervousness that is commonly experienced in anticipation of a real or imagined difficulty or unwanted situation. When people become anxious they typically feel upset, uncomfortable and tense. Most people feel anxious from time to time, but some people feel anxious so often or so strongly that it affects their everyday lives. They may also feel anxious when there is no apparent cause.
