Wisdom tips for your yoga practice
- Begin each session by choosing to let go of worries and the busyness of the mind, tuning into your body and making the choice to stay mentally present. In this way you will maximise all of the benefits of your yoga practice.
- Yoga is non-competitive and is to be enjoyed. Appreciate and be content with your body and mind in the present moment.
- Your body is constantly changing, so its needs change from day to day and from hour to hour. Sometimes your body wants to be challenged, other times it needs gentler care. Listen to it and respond accordingly.
- Be patient and move into and out of poses smoothly, gently and with awareness.
- Listen and tune into your inner wisdom. Practice with mindfulness, courage and compassion.
